Why do I want to start up TheCam.Club?
Social necessity is my main reason for starting up TheCam.Club!

Let's be honest, over the years, adult video content creators have made more bad films than good ones. For that reason, as a business developer, I have been studying the market in adult video content for more than 20 years now. What makes this industry so interesting is the fact that the business in adult content has grown to a staggering 120 billion euros, with the end still nowhere in sight. I am sure the market will more than double once all opportunities offered by VR-, AR-, AI-technology and robotics are properly utilized. Using subscription models on a cutting edge platform will work. But a simple no-coding websites combined with a mind blowing video concept/ screenplay will lead, with the right marketing, to a infinit number of subscribers too. In 2019 I saw a growing market and wanted to capture a big piece of the pie. I had a big plan that could be succesfull too.
One thing I realised well: to make the most of all those opportunities, many well trained professionals are needed! Finding real professionals is difficult when a market is stigmatized by individuals and governments. In addition the marked is completely ignored by private equity and institutional investors too. With many questions and an ultimate goal in mind I set to work and went out into the field. Therefore I attended conventions such as Xbiz and Venus in Berlin, and the Bucharest Summit. I held conversations with people representing all layers of the adult scene.
Something changed my vision during Xbiz in Berlin. That was the moment where my moneymaking mindset transformed into a more social point of view. It was Kellie Marsh representing "Pineapple Support" at Xbiz who opened my eyes. Pineapple is an organization that provides support to performers who got emotionally damaged by work in the erotic industry.
In response to my inquiry into the importance of Pineapple Support, I received stories of psychiatric hospitalizations, self-harm, drug addiction resulting in overdose, and even suicide. Kellie received support from other performers who testified about the difficult conditions on the set. Some women also experienced problems by living a life in two different worlds. A student, housewife or mother on one side and an erotic performer to the other. For various reasons, this often leads to emotional conflict situations.
After hearing all the stories, it was immediately clear to me. Initiatives like Pineapple Support are good, but by then it is already too late. To solve this issue for once and for always, proper education is needed. We need schools! And perhaps even political lobbying is required. Shouldn't we establish a minimum age higher than 18 and make erotic performer a protected profession. After Xbiz, with my plan for a school, I returned to my own safe environment. I was determined to give a significant contribution to the education of everyone aspiring a job in the adult content industry.
So why do I want to startup TheCam.Club? By providing eduction we provide knowledge and employment leading to improvement of the adult industry. And on top of that, education protects workers in the adult scene from social problems which might lead to fysical and emotional damnage.
This video was made with a worn-out smartphone, so don't expect too much from the image quality. What I want to show by this video is the beauty of "homemade content" as long as it's real and not a staged performance. And secondly I want to show what a wonderful people most adult performers are. Spending three full days with them was a life changing experience for me. Everyone was so sweet and spontaneous. Because of them, I took the step to set up an Academy of Adult Video Arts by TheCam.Club, providing education for everyone in the scene.
When you watch this video till the end, you will agree the following thing: it's simply unexplainable that such fantastic people are stigmatized for their work. And on top of that there are no opportunities at a good education for them. Let's change this situation now!
