Gen Z apparently lost their interest in love and sexuality and the reason is unknown.

There is something remarkable going on with Generation Z and their sexuality. The parental generation is actually having more sex than their own adult Generation Z children. In 2012, young people had their first sexual experience on average at the age of 17.1. And then, 5 years later, in 2017, that number has shot up by 1.5 years to 18.6. And apparently it has gotten even worse, but I haven't been able to find any data on that. It is a strange development, because in these 5 years, young people's knowledge of sexuality has developed significantly. Thanks to all platforms who started to offer loads of erotic content, there is a lot of knowledge about sex available. You would say that young people would desire sex more as a result, but the opposite now turns out to be true.

I have a background in socio-economic sciences. As a result, I know many PhD graduates who should be able to answer my questions on this subject well, so I set out to investigate. As it turns out, Generation Z finds it difficult to flirt and date. Additionally, both online and in real life, women prefer to hang out with other women to do 'girly things'. And they often view the men they associate with more as a friend than a sex partner or future life partner. Furthermore, many women say they are busy and do not want to make time to do fun things with a guy. Incidentally, many young women indicate that they actually do want a relationship but they have no need for sex.

When asked whether Generation Z women often watch porn, it appears that women often find erotic content too crude and very misogynistic. Generation Z boys, however, do watch erotic video content online. But they prefer hentai films and erotic comic films above regular video content. To summarize my point briefly: many people from Generation Z I have spoken to say they are open to adult video content, but at the same time, they indicate that most adult videos do not appeal to them at all. 

It may seem now as if we are simply discussing a finding: that Generation Z, on a global level, is no longer interested in love and sexuality. But it is not an innocent finding. The fact that Generation Z is no longer interested in sex and in each other leads to a man-made disaster resulting in a shrinking world population. This is a trend that has been underway for years in countries such as Japan, China, and South Korea. However, almost all Western European countries are also struggling with massive population aging, putting the social system for the elderly under pressure.
